The new MultiPower from Energy Solutions is a sophisticated, environmently friendly all-in-one hybrid power system for businesses and large homes.
A self contained system, the MultiPower combines a Victron Quattro sine wave inverter/charger with a generator, batteries and a built in fuel tank. These components are integrated into an enclosure designed for fast installation.
“MultiPower is a complete system that is easy for businesses and homeowners to have installed” Explains Energy Solutions MD Paul Holland. “Once the MultiPower is hooked up the unit is always on standby. As soon as power goes out the system automatically switches to battery power to provide electricity for pre-programmed loads. The user doesn’t even need to flick a switch”.
During extended power cuts the system will automatically start the generator. What makes the system unique is that VE Quattro inverter/charger features PowerAssist, a unique capability of supplementing power to the generator. Insufficient generator power is immediately compensated for by the Quattro with extra power from the battery – making the total output power of the system up to 3 times the nominal generator power for temporary heavy loads. It means that as well as been able to run security systems, lighting, TV’s & computers etc, the system has the capacity to handle electric cooking, washing machines, power tools, water pumps, air conditioning etc.
The system is reasonably priced – less than a new kitchen - and can be directly installed by a qualified electrician.
